Different types of Pilates:

There are mainly two schools of thought. There are those that religiously follow the original works of Joseph Pilates to the T and then there are those that see the exercise technique as a dynamic and constant developing regimen.

We believe that in the field of human research, they are constantly making new discoveries about our bodies and we cannot ignore those findings, just to hold on to tradition. Joseph Pilates himself kept developing his exercises during his lifetime – making modifications for different needs.

In the end, we as a studio just want to do right by Joseph and not just teach an exercise, but teach a lifestyle.
